Ming Chuang University visits EPAC Swiss art school

Welcome to students from one of our international partners, Ming Chuang University (MCU) in Taipei. They will be taking a Game Art workshop with us, starting today with Character Design, followed by a few days visiting Switzerland. The class today is given by Taraneh Karimi, a 2D concept/story artist and character designer working at Gamehouse studio in Netherlands and Art Director in SpaceFox Studio. Her work is mostly focused on design, illustration, storytelling and concept art serving her personal project "Lona: Realm of Colors" as well as Gamehouse's narrative-based games. Other classes during the workshop are given by Amir Erfani, a Game Producer in Amsterdam called Webble Games, as well as being the Creative Director for their own indie team SpaceFox Studio.

The MCU students have also brought some of their own creations with them to show on campus at an exhibition tonight. Our collaboration with MCU goes back several years and the artwork shown here is from former exchange student from MCU in 2018.
